Organization refers to the arrangement or order of the ideas in a text.
Effective organization introduces the idea of the report in a general way, comfortably and easily leading the reader into the details of the situation.
Writers usually organize reports in either of two ways, directly or indirectly. For the class reports, both the short, informal one and the longer, formal report, you are most likely to be using direct organization and should begin with that unit.
